Private transfer to the Aurora Safari Camp
The Aurora Safari Camp is one of a kind in Northern Scandinavia. Situated on the Rane River in Swedish Lapland it is a perfect place for anyone with a sense of adventure and romance.
With no artificial light at all you have a great chance to enjoy the Northern Lights. You will be staying in a comfortable tepee that is set up as a double or family room. Each room has a log burning fireplace so that you can stay nice and cosy, even when it is cold outside. The washroom is also in a tepee some 30m away from the tents. This is an eco friendly camp so your facilities are basic allowing you to reconnect with the amazing nature that surrounds you. In the evening you can enjoy a delicious dinner, and if the weather permits, enjoy a snowshoe walk and hunt for the Northern Lights.
Floating Sauna
In winter there are two locations for a traditional wood-fired sauna session, to be enjoyed throughout your stay. The Sauna in the Ice sits frozen into the lake, and the Forest Sauna is near the centre of Aurora Safari Camp.
Sauna in the Ice – A special feature of Aurora Safari Camp in winter is our floating sauna on the frozen lake. Right outside the sauna, guests can take a rejunevating dip in the ice pool, before returning to the comforting warmth of the sauna.
Forest Sauna – The forest sauna is a place to enjoy the sights and sounds of the woodland surrounding the camp while you warm up and wind down after an adventure-filled day.
Snowmobile Adventure
Then you will head out on a 2hr snowmobile safari, up to the edge of the Arctic Circle, and enjoy an outdoor lunch surrounded by this breathtaking scenery.
