West Swedish Province of Dalsland

Known as Sweden’s Lake province, it is a traditional and tranquil corner of western Sweden that is characterised by dense forests in the northwestern uplands and lakes in the east.

Choose from a luxury apartment to a traditional Swedish wooden Stuga and use the time to get back to nature, ride a horse, kayak, explore the lakes on a motor boat, brave the zip-line or high ropes course or even spend an evening with a guide searching for the local Beaver.

A highlight of your trip would be to spend a night under the stars in your own tepee. Swim in the lake and explore the surrounding area. In the evening cook dinner on an open fire whilst watching the stars above. In the morning enjoy waking up to the magnificent view while having your freshly made breakfast delivered to your door.

Gozo Island

Gozo is a small Maltese island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. The island is the second biggest island in the Maltese archipelago and is separated from Malta by only 5 kilometres of sea but feels a million miles away as it is distinctly different.

On the island you can stay in a choice of luxury private farmhouses from which you can explore the island with a guide walking, cycling, horse riding, on your own boat, climbing/abseiling or snorkelling.

A great way to see the real island of Gozo is through an eco-tour that will introduce you to local people in their working environment to understand where some of the local food comes from. It’s a great balance of food, people, site-seeing and trying out traditional Gozo games.

The Åland Islands

The Åland Islands form a beautiful archipelago in the Baltic Sea at the entrance to the Gulf of Bothnia. Åland is an autonomous region with its own flag, stamps and duty-free status.

It is a Swedish-speaking region of Finland with its own laid-back relaxing feel taking influences from both countries – whilst retaining its own individual culture. Due to its longitude, Aland experiences wonderful long summer days.

Stay in your own house with a sea view with access to boats, kayaks, and fishing rods from which you can explore the culture and action including hiking the islands walks, cycling, boat trips, swimming and of course sampling some of the islands famous fishing spots.

The Spanish Pyrenees

The Pyrenees Mountains straddle the border between France and Spain and offer some of Europe’s most beautiful scenery.

The region of Aragon is located away from the main tourist destinations and ski resorts and so provides a peaceful and authentic Spanish experience. Small rustic villages and towns are dotted throughout the landscape offering a view of rural Spanish life including all of their festivals and markets.

Stay in a family-run, beautifully restored self-catering apartment from which you can opt for any of the local activities including paragliding, canyoning, white-water rafting, hiking, horse riding and sightseeing flights.
