Brandon Lodge in Sweden is a great escape for families or couples, with fifteen log cabins nestled in the forests, right on the shoreline of the Bay of Bothnia, you can try a whole host of winter activities, or relax as a couple in the sauna or hot tub and enjoy a private dining experience out on the frozen bay.
Your hosts will greet you at Luleå airport and after a short private transfer, you will arrive at Brandon Lodge, where the log fire in the teepee is always on, and warm drinks are available throughout the day. Roaring log fires will greet you on arrival in the main building reception, with comfy sofas and a well stocked bar. With mulled wine and gingerbread at reception, they know how to make you feel welcome right from the start of your stay here at Brandon Lodge, Christmas is a magical time here with beautiful decorations throughout the resort.
Once you are settled into your log cabin, you have two bedrooms to choose from, both with two single beds, a comfortable lounge / dining area with sofas, dining table and a great viewing window on either side of the room so you can relax with great views over the bay. There is also a sauna and hot tub for you to enjoy during your stay, which can be booked for private use.
Brandon Lodge in Sweden has a main restaurant, with an amazing selection of locally sourced foods. The food here is incredible, there is absolutely everything you can think of, and all dietary requirements are catered for. Locally caught fish, meats, stews all with freshly made sauces and dips, displayed beautifully in a central buffet style layout. Vegetarian options are kept separate. With freshly made breads and butters also in abundance, with gluten free options also available. There is something for everyone, and you can keep topping your plate up if you haven’t tried each dish! In December, if you opt in for the all inclusive package, there is even an amazing Candy room straight out of Disney! Every dessert you can think of and more, and what’s great, is you can keep going back for more!
The breakfasts here at Brandon Lodge set you up for the day, with eggs cooked every way possible, stunning displays of fruit, local honey and freshly squeezed orange juice is perfect, nothing is too much trouble.
During the day, the team at Brandon Lodge will take you out on privately guided excursions, from snowmobiling, to ice fishing, dog sledding and snowshoeing, they will be with you all the way to make sure that your Winter holiday in Sweden goes without a hitch. You can feed the local reindeer and even feed Thomas, a huge Moose who loves his bananas! We’re here to make your stay here extra special, and make some amazing memories for you and your family. Kick sleds and fat bikes are also available for use around the area, and warm outdoor clothing is also provided, so you can enjoy the outdoors at any time and stay warm and dry in your snowsuits.
Brandon Lodge in Sweden is right on the shores of the Bay of Bothnia, with private Aurora Cabins with skis on, to take you far out onto the frozen bay for a private dinner, where there are dark skies with no light pollution, so you are in one of the best places to see the Northern Lights. Your guide will take you out onto the frozen bay, and you will have a log fire in your cabin to keep you warm, whilst your chef will cook your 3-course meal for you, you can enjoy the tranquillity of being totally off the map with this unique private dining experience.
